Why did you become a Physio?
I have always been passionate about sport and the human body from a young age where I stumbled across physiotherapy as a possible career. Since then, I have pursued it as my dream by selecting PDHPE as an elective in high school and then completing Sport and Exercise Science before completing my Physiotherapy degree and have loved every step toward getting to where I am today.
What do you love about being a Physio?
Physiotherapy is the perfect blend where I am able to help people that fits with my interest in sport and anatomy. The ability to affect people positively through my career is a major motivator for me and is the reason why I love being a Physiotherapist. Being an athlete myself, I enjoy helping people with sport-related injuries especially of the hips, knees and ankles. I love providing the health solution for my clients who are unsure and are searching for answers to their ongoing pain and discomfort.
