Why did you become a Physio?
My passion for physiotherapy began when my mum suffered a complete Achilles tendon rupture. Watching her rehabilitation journey and seeing how physiotherapy helped her regain her strength, confidence, and independence inspired me to pursue this profession. It showed me the real difference physiotherapy can make in someone's life.
What do you love about being a Physio?
Today, I enjoy helping people recover from injuries, reduce pain, and move with confidence again. Whether it's returning to work, sport, or everyday activities, I find it incredibly rewarding to support patients in achieving goals that matter to them. I believe in providing personalised, evidence-based care and working alongside my patients every step of the way. I have a special interest in treating musculoskeletal conditions, particularly neck and back pain. I enjoy working with patients to identify the cause of their symptoms and helping them regain confidence through education, hands-on treatment, and tailored exercise programs. I also have a strong interest in working with people with scoliosis, supporting them with exercise-based rehabilitation to improve posture, movement, and overall function.
A Little About Janice
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and our two dogs. I love exploring new cafes, painting, and staying active through the occasional Pilates class or game of badminton. I enjoy finding a balance between staying active and being creative, which helps me recharge and brings a fresh perspective to both my work and everyday life.
